I think today was awsome i really enjoyed class today.Today we learned how to make movies on windows movie maker. First you need to get the clups you want and you import then using file import media(or something like that) Then you can drag and drop the clips you want into the time line then if you put your mouse over the ends of the clip you can cut then down by clicking and dragging the ends/beginnings of the clips. After that you can add effects like black and white, or fades using the effects and transitions located on the left side. Experiment with them and if you don't like it just click Ctrl Z to undo it. To add audio you just do the same file import media and import the music files you want to use. You can just drag and drop the audio files into the time line and they will be located underneath the video on the time line, you can cut the audio down and add fade out and fade ins and adjust the volume by right clicking on the file on the time line. Once you are finished click publish movie and then you can save it to your computer where you can burn it to a disc or up load it to the Internet. It may seen a bit confusing at first but play around with it and it will become rather easy, If you can't get what your looking for you might have to upgrade to a better editing.

Home work assignment for day 1

I feel that I learned a lot today as far as technolgy. I really enjoyed the assignments we went over today and I really feel as though it will be very helpful to the teachers and the students. There are three ways to teach: tell someone, show someone or let them do it themselves. With developments in technology children can do it themselves earlier and much quicker. Our educational establishments need to be harnessing this new way to learn and using it for all it is worth. This puts an added requirement on today's teachers. A requirement to have the skills and capabilities to use technology to meet the needs of learners. They need to understand and be comfortable using the technology that is out there to engage young learners and there is a plethora of options available from educational software, online games, eBooks for children, and educational websites.
